Behind the Sensation

The social media giant, Facebook, announced it was banning the sale of guns and ammunition on the site in 2016. Recently, it included ads for weapon modification accessories. An example of this would be gun safes, mounts, gun cases, and slings. Since Liberty Safes of Chattanooga is a client of Spectruss, this became a challenge to effectively promote the business online. But, with a little creativity and some fun, the team at Spectruss created and produced an entertaining commercial that's received over 100k global impressions in less than a week with hundreds of shares.

Go Viral

As the views increased on YouTube and Facebook, the eyes of other popular social platforms reached the commercial. Reddit, an American social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website, shared the commercial in less than a week of posting the video with the caption, "I just stumbled across this gem while looking at safes." It's already received hundreds of engagements and 4.4K up likes.

Digg named the commercial the "Most Brilliant Gun Safe Ad We've Ever Seen". This platform features the best articles, videos, and original content that the web is currently talking about. (https://digg.com/video/liberty-safe-ad)

Videography

Video accounts for a third of all online activity. Let that sink in. 33% of everything on the internet is video. Moreover, YouTube, the worlds largest video hosting website and the second largest search engine in the world, has more than three days are uploaded every second. Video in a marketing strategy is no longer an option; it’s a necessity. Liberty Safe worked with us to create a viral video campaign to jumpstart online visibility. Taking a very deliberate approach, we created a provocative, but not polarizing, online video campaign called Or Other Stuff that perpetuated nearly 3 million shares, giving Liberty Safe massive online visibility. Capitalizing on the success of the Or Other Stuff campaign, we worked with Liberty once more to create similarly styled comedic online videos that highlight key features of the products sold by Liberty Safe. This helped a great deal in creating a cohesive video style that’s bespoke to their brand. Building once more on the now-established Liberty Safe video style, we collaborate once again to create a full-size commercial production to be put at the helm of the creative campaign, called So Safe, It’s Exhausting. Working hand-in-hand with Liberty Safe, we created a Hollywood-quality online commercial with evergreen appeal and shareability, all in record time. Liberty Safe is currently the number one home safe in the United States.
