Lookout Wild Film Festival ยท Professional Services
A regional festival. A global stage.

The problem
An annual event that had to feel new every year.
The Lookout Wild Film Festival celebrates outdoor adventure, conservation and storytelling through film. Every year the audience expects more, and in 2022 ticket sales were way down.
What we found
Same festival. A new look every year.
A festival that comes back every year cannot look the same every year. It needed a fresh identity each time that stayed true to its mission, plus marketing strong enough to fill seats when sales dipped.
What we built
Then we went and built it.
Annual rebrands
New visuals, themes, website designs and marketing materials for every festival.
A 2019 redesign
A new logo and a fully rebuilt website.
Digital marketing
Ad campaigns, social media strategy and email marketing, which we have led from the start.
Festival-ready print deliverables every year.
The work
What it looked like.

The result
Regional to worldwide
Worldwide film submissions, sponsors like Red Bull, Audi, The North Face and Patagonia, and bigger venues every year since 2015.
“We've been fortunate enough to work with Spectruss. Over the years, we've had folks come up to us and say how good everything looks, how strong the website is. Spectruss has done the design work and website, and they deliver and help us do that every year. In 2022, we needed help on the marketing and advertising side. Our ticket sales were way down, and that's where their expertise came in with strategy. We couldn't have done it without Spectruss. I can't suggest highly enough working with their team. It's a creative crew, it's a fun crew, it's a crew that got the culture of what we're after, and they took our event and made it their own. It's been a great partnership over the years, and I can't recommend them highly enough.”
