Samantha Patterson
PROJECT MANAGER
Samantha has been a creative problem-solver for as long as she can remember. She started a virtual styling business to make creative fashion more accessible, and spent years painting and behind a camera before ever stepping into operations. That foundation in design and art shaped everything. She doesn’t just manage creative work, she understands how it’s made.
At Spectruss, Samantha manages every client account and internal project as Project Manager. She makes sure deadlines are met and deliverables exceed expectations, keeping teams aligned and handling the back-and-forth between creative production and client needs, so campaigns always go out the door on time and on target.
She earned her bachelor’s in Digital and Visual Marketing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which sharpened her ability to pair creative instincts with results-driven strategy. That combination is still the foundation of how she works.
Away from work, Samantha is either outdoors or creating. Nature slows her down in a way nothing else does, and painting and fashion are where her brain goes on autopilot. She stays disciplined through Pilates and running, burns through audiobooks because she’s loved reading her whole life (audiobooks just let her do more of it), and spends her downtime around the musical geniuses in her life. Live music has always been part of her world, and she still likes having it close.
What inspired you to start your career in marketing/advertising?
I’ve been a creative my entire life, and I thrive in fast-paced environments. But what really pointed me toward marketing was shadowing a mentor in my adolescence who worked as a designer and creative director for an agency. Watching how thoughtful and intentional she was with her work showed me that creativity could be a career.
