Croatia, a master's in engineering, and a career in WordPress.

Karlo was born and raised in Croatia and holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Engineering in Rijeka. He taught himself web development in 2009 and has spent his career on WordPress since.

He knows the platform end to end: architecture, themes, plugins and customization. The sites he builds are fast, responsive on every device and engineered for conversion rather than decoration.

Off the clock

Family, travel, and a fishing rod.

When he is not writing code, Karlo is with his family or out on the water. He is a die-hard fisherman, a former handball goalkeeper, and his bucket list starts with catching as many Florida game fish as he can.

Curiosity and the thrill of creating something from scratch. I started tinkering with HTML and CSS, and before I knew it I was hooked on building things other people could use.
